Description
It is a quantitative indicator that shows ratio of students to FTE teaching staff.
This indicator could be complemented according to HEIs institutions characteristics, including the type of teaching staff (doctorate, clinical expertise etc).
It is an indicator of the characteristics of the system and institutions with implications for efficiency and quality.
As far as the level of decision making is concerned, it is a tactical indicator and falls within Teaching & Learning scope.
