Description
It is a quantitative indicator that shows percentage of articles published in 1st-quartile journals of the scientific area per total number of articles published in year n in that area.
As far as the level of decision making is concerned, it is a tactical indicator and falls within Research scope.

- Measure the efficiency of publications.

(Σ Articles published in 1st-quartile journals of the scientific area in year n / Σ Total articles published by HEI staff in year n in that scientific area) *100
