Description
It is a quantitative indicator that shows ratio of teaching hours offered per FTE teaching staff.
To a better approach it would be interesting to have Credit points as unit of real hours taking into account teaching hours, preparation & mentoring. It is recommended also to standarize the value with the gross namber of academic staff.
As far as the level of decision making is concerned, it is a tactical indicator and falls within Teaching & Learning scope.
Decision-making uses
- Observe the balance between various functions (teaching, research, community engagement etc.).

Σ Teaching hours provided / Σ FTE teaching staff
