Description
It is a quantitative indicator that shows ratio of impact scientific production per FTE teacher.
It is calculated as an average over the last 3 years, calculated from 31/12 of year N - 3 to 31/12 of year N - 1.
As far as the level of decision making is concerned, it is a tactical indicator and falls within Research scope.
Decision-making uses
- Monitoring/evaluation of the Research Units performance.
- Identify the areas which need further support, incentives and training to produce more impactful research.
Formula
Σ Citations of indexed articles at SCOPUS where at least one author is affiliated to the institution / Σ FTE teaching staff
